As the senior care industry has changed, the Governor's Pointe team has stayed on the cutting edge and raised the bar in quality of care issues. Executive Director

Since 2013, Nicole has been working at a Randall Residence community, learning not only the administrative tasks, but also learning about seniors. She doesn’t just tell seniors what they are supposed to do, she instead asks them what they want to do. Nicole and her sisters (one is a fraternal twin) own a boutique that is inspired by their grandmothers love of crafting.

Wellness Director

Darcy has been caring for residents at Governor’s Pointe since 2000. Not only is she concerned about the health of the residents, but she also bonds with each resident and their families. When not at work, Darcy spends her time rescuing dogs and tending to her many rose bushes.

Making each day remarkable for the residents is what Melissa does best. If you’re looking for something fun to do at Governor’s Pointe, ask Melissa. Before joining the Governor’s Pointe team, Melissa attended culinary school and worked at Disney College Program.

Christine Werner

Business Office Coordinator

Christine started at Governor’s Pointe in 1999 as a caregiver, left for a time, and is now back as our Business Office Coordinator. She’s the first person you go to when you have problems to solve. When not taking care of two young children, she enjoys crocheting blankets and baby hats.

The Wiker Award

The Wiker Service Award was created in 2009 in the memory of long-time White Oaks employee, Dottie Wiker. Wiker worked for Randall Residence for 25 years and was known for her attention to resident details, and a constant smile. Employees from all eight of the Randall Residences (Michigan, Ohio, and Illinois) are eligible to be nominated for the award. A trophy with the winner's name will remain on display at the winning residence for a year. Anyone may submit a Nomination Form.
