Governor's Village

Governor's Village, a Randall Residence, is located in the village of Mayfield Village, just a short drive east of Cleveland. Mayfield Village is a community with a small town character and with services equal to communities much larger in size. Living at Governor's Village offers residents a chance to continue their friendships that they have had for a lifetime and often new friends find they have much in common, as they share memories and experiences.

Governor's Village opened its doors in 2001. The Randall Family built Governor's Village and continues to own and operate it. With 48 private suites, Governor's Village offers the opportunity of maintaining an active, independent lifestyle without the burden of caring for everyday duties. Governor's Village's Liberty Suites, located within Governor's Village, offers seniors with dementia an opportunity to enjoy life while providing families and caregivers the peace of mind knowing that their loved one is in a safe, secure and supportive environment.

Governor's Village is located in Cuyahoga county, however, just outside the Lake county line, so that it is convenient for both east and west side residents. Governor's Village is easily accessible from Route 2 and Route 90, and just North of Lake Erie on Route 91. Located in a park like setting, Governor's Village is near to the Chagrin Reservation, banking, and many shopping venues such as Legacy Village, Beachwood Mall, Great Lakes Mall, and several other merchants. We are also close to many restaurants, a large movie complex, the Lake County Captains Baseball Park, and only 15 minutes from downtown Cleveland. There are three major hospitals within minutes of our community if the need ever arises, as well as many medical and dental offices. Our building is adjacent to Altercare of Mayfield, a comprehensive rehabilitation facility, which allows us to follow the care of our residents if they ever have to go out for therapies.
