Governor's Pointe Finances
The cost of living in an assisted living facility varies according to the type of suite and the custom level of services that is created for the resident. Unfortunately, Medicare and Medicaid are not programs that help defray the cost of assisted living. Most residents and families pay for the cost of assisted living out of their own personal financial resources. For some, these expenses are tax deductible.
Some long-term care insurance policies reimburse part of assisted living expenses. The Veteran's Administration offers Aid and Attendance Benefit for eligible veterans and spouses living in assisted living.
For specific costs, please contact Governor's Pointe to discuss the customized level of assisted living care that is right for your situation.
